Peter Hitchens is a staunch conservative,

Maybe for England. He sounds like a 19th century British moralist in that article. He is so overcome by the living conditions that he can't get them out of his way, even though he knows underneath that there is no other way out.

Note there really is no summary. That's why I called it "his impressions." I think he felt that if he told the truth he would be lynched in London.

I posted an article recently about Kevin Myers, an Irish columnist who is embittered with the West's altruism in Africa. He had a comment about "tumescent layabouts" producing more children for the West to feed and is getting "Steyned." Message 24769301
