Do you recommend buying Netscape after the split?

I only discovered you liked it, while surfing around, this evening.

My best friend wanted me to buy it when it went public. I responded: "I can't get the stock, and it hasn't earned any money."

I use Netscape to get around on the net. But I would very much, like to hear from you, why you like it so much, because I respect your opinion.

PS Do you follow Ascend? I bought shares in the company for the fun of it. I don't know much about it. And if it goes down the tube, I acknowledge, I was foolish for buying a stock I didn't know anything about.
