Yea, the price of K6 300 has bottomed out. I buy most of my stuff through grin.net and the show they K6 300 as cheaper than M2 300. AMD is either getting the yields up or are responding to competition from Cyrix for this grade CPU. I suspect it is a little bit of both. I wonder if AMD is going to pursuit Packard Bell as a customer. Thus far, any customer of Cyrix, AMD has pursued them aggressively, and won them over. I think that you are correct though that a road map has to be stated. It sounds that the Packard Bell deal is a long term commitment and that they are very interested in the Media Gx. As such, I think that any road map with Media GX will offer protection from AMD which has no comparable offering. All of this rides on the success of Gx!
