Crew Gold and Galahad Gold

As far as I can tell, the closest mining company to TGX in Greenland is Crew Gold. Their Nalunaq gold mine is close to the very southern tip of Greenland about 400 km SE of Fiskenaesset.

Crew Gold has a market cap around $250 million US. The company is listed on the TSX but they are managed from England. It is interesting that the company has a diverse portfolio of acquisitions, mostly precious metals but also some unrelated assets including an olivine deposit in West Greenland (Fiskefjorde -- wherever that is)! Olivine is a pale green semi-precious gemstone. It seems TGX and this company have something in common.

Crew's Nalunaq mine, which started production May 2004, is currently sending their gold ore to Spain to be processed.

Galahad Gold, also based in England, is also invested in Greenland, although on the east coast. Galahad has a large stake in the Northern Dynasty Pebble deposit in Alaska, in addition its to palladium and molybdenum in Greenland. Interestingly enough, the Rothschilds and RAB Capital have put a lot of money into Galahad.
