Danaher agrees to buy graphics company EskoArtwork
Danaher agrees to acquire Belgian graphic design company EskoArtwork

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Danaher Corp. said Thursday it agreed to buy EskoArtwork, a Belgian graphic arts company, for $470 million.

EskoArtwork, which is based in Ghent, Belgium, makes a suite of digital design software used for product packaging. It has annual revenues of $247 million.

Washington-based Danaher makes medical equipment and other products. EskoArtwork will become part of Danaher's product identification division.

The sale is expected to be completed in the first half of this year.

Danaher shares dropped 77 cents, or 1.5 percent, to close at $46.26.
