PMFJI, but all it means is that if you have 2 or more Internet capable machines in your home, all would be able to concurrently use the net through a single network access. While the story didn't go into details, it's possible that any printers could also be attached to the server permitting easy shared access from multiple PCs in one home; shared access to tape backup; extra hard drive, etc.

If you don't have more than one active PC in the home, then it's just another failure point waiting for you to require its functionality.
