I suppose we'll have to wait a couple of quarters to really find out what impact these appliances have to Novell's bottom line. I'd much like to see them seed the market and get as many of these appliances out there and in use. Once people see the benefit of Novell products, it will increase market awareness.

Of course, I'd much rather see Novell make BIG $$$$ on every one of these they sell and drive revenues HIGHER :)

ICS is just the beginning I think. We'll see a "family" of network appliances from Novell (Compaq & Dell) ranging from Virtual Private Networking to Storage Area Networks to e-commerce (websphere) front-ends. There really isn't a limit to what they can do once NDS is set in place.
