I think the important question is the one I posted..

The sanctions probably killed a lot more people then the recent war has.

What were those sanctions all about anyway?? They were about WMD, if I remember correctly, and Clinton was all for suppressing the growth of such activity in Iraq. OK Saddam has been whacked now but then he was just truckloads of trouble. A real big friggin problem.

So did the sanctions kill more humans then the war?? It is sooooo easy to turn a blind eye to non intervention and let the paper pushers kill the children. One of the reasons I have a lasting respect for the military for all their supposed short comings.
