Russell calls Bush a "turkey" "The ominous news is that foreigners cut way back on their buying of US securities during the latest report, down about 90% to a piddling $5 billion for September. This can't go on. The US needs that foreign money coming in at the rate of around $1.75 billion a day to finance our chronically negative trade balance. And will somebody please tell Mr. Bush that tariffs and trade barriers are NOT going to work (and yeah, Mr. Bush, we all know you're doing it for political reasons). But stop, don't let me get started on the Bush "team." I had my turkey yesterday, and I don't have to talk about turkeys today."
