For God sakes, how many ships full of Jews did America and Britain turned around? It is easy to speak of both sides of your mouth.

I wasn't alive at that time, so I'm not being contradictory. It was a travesty that Jews were turned away from this country, let alone forced to return to Germany. (But since you think it was the Zionists who created the exodus of Jews from Germany, you MUST believe that US refusal was part of the Zionist plan.. ;0)

Personally, I welcome anyone who wishes to pledge allegiance to this country and speaks its Lingua Franca, and can prove they are able to bring sufficient skills to find gainful employment..

Of course they wouldn't, Israel is built on stolen land. Israel is a sham and a farce.

Yeah.. if you're a Turk, you obviously feel that way. In fact, you'd feel that the majority of ALL LAND in the Middle-East was "stolen" by the British and French and illegally given away.

Just face some facts.. The Ottomans were granting land to the Zionists BEFORE WWI (beginning in 1881), and went through a period of restrictions and approvals until losing their empire to the Allies. Was that "stolen land"?

Any if not, then why shouldn't the new European administrators of the FORMER Ottoman Empire HAVE THE RIGHT, IF NOT THE OBLIGATION, to rule the region in a manner that would prevent Ottoman subversion, as well as redistributing land AWAY from those who were Ottoman LACKIES?

Might makes right buddy.. The Ottomans conquered that territory and made the policies TO FIT THEIR NEEDS. The British and French did the same. Then the Israelis did so and exchanged land for peace with Egypt.

And the Arabs have done just the same thing within the geographical boundaries that constitute their sovereign states.

And just as those same Arabs would do to Palestine were they someday able to conquer Israel.

As for settlements, who's telling you they are illegal? Or is that merely your opinion and international propaganda?

Are they the same people who have told you that an armed Hizballah is illegal, yet have done nothing about it?

Just because you say they are illegal doesn't mean they are. I could say that the entire Palestinian Partition arbitrarily assigned by the UN was illegal since it violated the agreement between King Faisal Hussein and the Zionists.

You can say they are unwise, immoral, or inflammatory, but you can't credibly claim they are illegal when "ownership" has been arbitrarily assigned and reassigned numerous times.

And they are not illegal if neither party to the particular UN non-binding resolution (242) recognize one another as a legitimate negotiating partner.

IOW, if you don't acknowledge my existence, you can't acknowledge my ability to negotiate with you. Nor do you acknowledge your responsibility to uphold any agreements we make.

And if you don't acknowledge my existence, how can you claim that I'm illegally occupying your land?

VERY IMPORTANT POINTS that explain a lot of the deadlock in progress.
