Hi GM! Options often trade on several exchanges, ie. Amex, Chicago, Pcoast, est. I believe that each exchange tracks it own open interest in the securities taht trade on its exchange. SO it could be that the piece of 250 was done a different exchange. You can check different prices on various exchanges by entering the quote as
SEGAB.O (consoldiated) SEGFR.PO (pcoae) SEGFR.AO (amex options) etc. Put a .*O at the end.
The other reason you might not have seen it was that someone closed a position. Ie....right after he that person bot 250, someone sold 110...to close....etc.
