Yes John & all:
I have a smile on my face and feeling dizzy.

When Intel gets to:
90 my entire portfolio will be up 100% since Jan 1, 1997
120 my entire portfolio will be up 200% since Jan 1, 1997
150 my entire portfolio will be up 300% since Jan 1, 1997

Hip, hip, hooray for Intel at 150 by year end!!

VIRGINIA GATE: It is true that Dell is up 580% in 12 months, but be a little carefull. After all they are only a box maker. Gateway, Dell, Compaq as boxmakers are in reality salemen for Intel. Anybody can box the Intels parts up, but when the market gets saturated in 10 years or so, I would expect the lofty PEs to come down.
Count in all your portfolio stocks and give us the total gain since the beginning of the year. This is a new year and percentage gains must be measured against time.

When the time is right (wrong) box makers share prices will crash and burn, just like an abundance of memory chips caused those stocks to crash.

It sure is nice to be heavy in Intel with little or no competition in this expanding market.
humble carl
