I have AVG on my primitive win95 machine.. Since I am on cable, it is on all the time (with zonelab free firewall) and although I have turned off regular scan, as far as downloading new updates etc. it works without a hitch..

Does it catch all the viruses ? Have no clue since this is the only checker I have but I do get lots of mail with lots of attachments and I do surf and am not that discriminating..

So far AVG has warned only once when I was viewing some site, caught and cleaned a virus from a page that was downloaded.. FWIW..
