paul, what's your take on NEC's 64M chip that runs Windows CE and is targeting the "consumer appliance" segemnt? Do you think today's announcement caught Intel off guard? As far as I understand, Intel has a division devoted to consumer appliance segment and will be very much a part of this potentally lucrative market. Usually, high volume, low-margin products is not part of Intel's strategy, but i don't think they can afford to not be part of it. thoughts? joey
