IntraNet Solutions, Eden Prairie, said it has become a member of the SAP Software Program. The company is one of the first content management vendors to achieve this interface-certification from SAP.
Ideas Inc., an Eagan-based provider of revenue management, will install its revenue management product in the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. Opryland Hospitality Group said it will deploy the Ideas product in its properties under development in Florida and Texas.
WSI Industries Inc., Wayzata, has completed the sale of its Long Lake facility. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the company expects to use the sale proceeds for reducing bank debt.
Best Buy Co. Inc., Eden Prairie, will open a distribution center in Dublin, Ga., on Thursday. The facility will supply consumer electronics and home office products to 65 Best Buy stores in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee.
Gelco Information Network, Eden Prairie, said Cognis Corp. has selected its ExpenseLink/Direct product for automation of travel and entertainment expense management and employee payment request processes for Cognis employees across U.S. operations.
Webb Information Services, Eden Prairie, has opened new offices in Atlanta and Sioux Falls, S.D. The company also has offices in Phoenix and Fargo, N.D.
IQUniverse Inc., Minneapolis, a developer of a community portal that is private-labeled for colleges and universities, and Chris Schmidt, chief executive officer of Microsel Inc., a distributor and manufacturer of custom computing software, have signed a letter of intent to partner in development and implementation a suite of products and services to colleges. IQUniverse intends to acquire prepackaged proprietary software for the secondary education market from Schmidt. In addition, Microsel and Digital Green, a division of Microsel, will offer Web services to provide the software to end users
Alliant Techsystems, Hopkins, and General Dynamics have agreed to jointly develop and produce munitions propellant for the U.S. Department of Defense and operate the Radford (Va.) Army Ammunition Plant. The agreement calls for the formation of a joint venture company called American Powder Co., which will be co-managed by ATK Ammunition and Powder Co., Radford, and General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Arctic Cat Inc., Thief River Falls, has reached an exclusive NASCAR sponsorship and multiple Winston Cup Series driver endorsements to market its all-terrain vehicle line. The agreement with NASCAR extends through 2004 and allows Arctic Cat to use the association logo in promotions and on ATVs and related products. Ricky Rudd heads the list of Winston Cup drivers who will participate in the ATV promotions.
Circata, Richfield, and GlassPath, Minneapolis, have entered a partnership agreement under which the companies will co-brand each others' products and services, incorporate Circata's wireless services within Glass Path's mobile offerings, establish GlassPath as a preferred infrastructure provider to Circata, and make Circata GlassPath's preferred wireless technology platform provider.
MHC Companies, Burnsville, a reseller of business forms, corporate image products, commercial printing and e-form software, will utilize Eden Prairie-based Four51's enterprise e-commerce product. Both companies also will initiate joint sales, marketing, implementation, and training activities immediately to integrate MHC's customers and suppliers into the program.
Midwest Gaming & Travel magazine, Waseca, has formed a joint venture agreement with Casino Careers Online in which the magazine will designate a special Internet page (http://www.midwestgamingandtravel.com/freeCasino.htm ) that gives Casino Careers employment candidates and industry clients the opportunity to receive free issues. The agreement includes a banner exchange, editorial consideration and print advertising.
Deluxe Corp., Shoreview, has signed an agreement with Synovus Financial Corp., Columbus, Ga., to be the organization's provider of check printing and related services. Deluxe will provide e-commerce services that include electronic ordering for its affiliate banks as well as Internet check re-ordering for its customers.
