It will come down to dollars as Barkley thus far has NOT impressed yet as being a back-up quality--they must have back up QB that has capacity to win games.Vick has already lost several million in his pay, as he had big bonus if he like started 14 games.
If they don't resign him, Vick will end up in the hell of Jacksonville most likely or if lucky in Minnesota.
NFL runing a Randall Cunningham special, from clips, he savages Buddy Ryan, he is was saying he had come hate football under Ryan's pathetic, and mean pathetic ability to have an offense.
In retrospect, his great defense could have won at least too Super Bowls, if Ryan wasn't pathetic as an offenseive coach--Ryan believed defense was ALL you needed.
Randall says if he didn't end up in Minnesota he would quit football.
He said at Minnesota they actually let him be QB--and he led them to NFC championship game, and just missed going to playoffs.
Ryan offense instruction to Randall was run around and do miracles--he gave him an offensive line from hell.
He had no game plan--except that "Run around and give us big plays. How? You figure it out.
In retrospect Buddy Ryan was as bad an offensive coach as you can get.
If Eagles don't have Vick next year they may be forced to draft a QB in 2nd round.
But Kelly was SUPER HIGH about Barkley when he drafted him--i wonder what he thinks now?
He went into draft as predicted 1st or 2nd round pick, and dropped to 4th round as a lot of teams simply didn't want him.
BTW, no one is laughing at the Jets for drafting Geno Smith, now.Jets are now a dangerous team with Smith.
