Hello Mr. Charters, I noticed back in post #2617 Don Rohner wanted you to discuss Zappa resources.
Here's a little bit of info to help you in your assessment: -Zappa has 25 million shares issued fully diluted. Current share price 17-24 cents Cdn.
-Currently Cambior is drilling a massive sulphide property in Ecuador called the Laplata, in which Cambior must spend 2 million U.S. by November 98, in order to earn a 51% interest in the property. Zappa would retain 49% of the property.
- The Laplata property has about 1 million tonnes proven/probable, with average grades being 11 grams Gold/ton, 65 grams Silver/ton, 6% Zinc, 4% Copper. ($140 NSR)
- The Laplata property is a former surface mine, but Cambior has Identified a zone south of the old mine, which is getting thicker the further south they have drilled. The furthest hole drilled south to date hit a 16 meter intercept averaging grades of 11 grams Gold/ton, 79grams Silver, 7.7% Copper, 2.9% Zinc, .3% Lead.
