09:45 ET Dow +14, Nasdaq -2, S&P -1.23: [BRIEFING.COM] The markets opened modestly higher only to sell off after the open. An early read on both Nasdaq and NYSE market internals suggests the sell pressure is lacking in conviction. On the Nasdaq, watch for initial support in the area of 2150. Early buy interest is evident in both gold and oil-related equities. The XOI is posting an early 0.7% gain while the XAU is higher by 0.8% to start the day. Biotechs are also strong out of the gate with the BTK up 1.1%. The SOX is getting hit with sell pressure though posts a very modest 0.1% loss.
