IBM to Include lomega Zip Drive in New Aptiva PC

ROY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1996-Iomega Corporation (NASDAQ:IOMG) today announced that IBM plans to incorporate Iomega’s
award-winning Zip drive into a select model of its new Aptiva line of
PCs, as announced by IBM today. The model is expected to be available
in the third quarter of this year.

With the addition of the Zip drive, the Aptiva will allow customers to
significantly expand the storage capacity of their computers in 100MB
disk increments. This will be ideal for home businesses and for use
with popular new multimedia and Internet programs.

The Iomega Zip drive has won numerous accolades throughout the

of today's floppy disk, and can also be used as a built-in backup
