The recent NPC reports are up on the website. Page 26 of the slides is very interesting.

It shows the GOM shelf rolling over, the Rockies production and GOM deepwater increasing and the lower 48 conventional flat for 25 years.

What are the implications for astute investors?

My initial feeling is that my investments in NBR PTEN ESV KEG and now RDC seem to be the place to be.

It is clear that land drilling will have to continue to rise to raise the Rockies production and to hold the lower 48 flat. Deepwater GOM seems to be ESV and RDC's area as well.

Places to avoid? Shallow water jack up plays such as RIG GSF ?
