But tax cuts can always be repealed in the next Congress. The transformational dream in the ME was meant to last for a generation or longer. The problem was, they believed they could simply impose their vision on the ME with Assumptions 1 and 2 that I posted earlier, and everything else would follow. Complex, messy realities always screw up sweet-sounding slogans. The ME is a very complex, very messy place.
