Well, you know, the first half of those years I was paying for Everything, out of pocket. Cash. Freeking cash. Right through cancer. And then I literally sweet-talked a woman at my wife's insurance carrier into putting me on her policy, in a moment of health. All the OK papers from Docs got through.

I practically sent her flowers. [How did I know I would soon be sick again? What am I, stupid?]

Thank goodness.

But I really feel bad about what I did to that woman, who has probably been fired and entered into the Company instruction manuals as a no-no ekszample.

I think they're down about 60K.

But I rationalize it with actuarial thinking now.
