BVF is one of the few MF stocks that I won't buy on principle. I remain deeply suspicious of any company that blames their problems on "naked shorting". At a minimum it shows lack of focus on the business and an unhealthy obsession with the short term stock price. Even if you actually believe that the bad guys are after your stock, the way to beat them is by producing superior business results, not by suing them.
