Hi,
This thread has been so great in solving my problems in the past I am hoping someone can help me now.
I noticed yesterday that my Win2k machine did not have the right picture - 3 button mouse instead of the actual trackball like my win98 machine - of my logitech trackman marble+ mouse under mouse properties.
I went to logitech website and downloaded and installed the updated driver but it never gave me a chance to pick what mouse I had.
After restarting my computer I now have a picture of a two button mouse instead of a 3 button mouse.
Now getting "A driver for this device was not required, and has been disabled (Code 32)when I try to do anything with add/remover hardware.
I figured I better come here for help before I really get into trouble. :-)
Anyway, just how important is it to have the right driver for the mouse? Does it effect machine performance?
Thanks in advance.
Judy
