re: I personally believed just like you until recently, that GW does in fact occur right now while we have no way of knowing why that is. GW is a certainty for now. While the term is relatively new we knew that warming of the planet is accelerating over the last 25,000 years or so. We also knew for long time that it is a cyclical event. The study of co2 concentration during global warming cycles is relatively new. That was part of my liberal education requirements in college way back when. I am just surprised that people still refused to recognize studies that have been available for very long time -AK PS if we filter out warming/cooling cycles there is a clear evidence that our planet is still cooling off
