I am just going to ans. a few unanswered posts and then on to other issues...My hands are clean..the seeds have been planted, now it is up to God...
Steve where in scripture does it tell us that "mormons" will be deceived? Where in scripture does it tell us that "hindu's" will be deceived? Where in scripture does it tell us that "islam" will be deceived? Where is scripture does it tell us that "buddist's will be deceived?...Or branch dividians, or Heaven's gate, or the Jones towns crew?....Do you see what you are asking?
You have though in fact answered your own question.!
You say that scripture says "they" will be deceived by the signs of antichrist..(satan as Jesus)...you say that scripture says, those that are asleep will be deceived...and you also say that scripyure says that those who haven't received the word of truth will be deceived...
And of course the word backs up all these ways a person or group is deceived....that is exactly my point...it is not my opinion. It Is Written.!..And you have pointed it out.
I never said that we had to know the exact plan of God, those are your words...I said that we should know the plan of God.Period...
There will be millions, who when the antichrist (satan as Jesus)appears, will believe that is is Jesus...Not just the rapture folks....Because they do not know the plan of God, and the chronological order of thigs to come...2 Thess. 2:3
Steve, satan does not appear as satan...he appears as Jesus...And he appears BEFORE Jesus...Not my opinion...it is written...to deceive the whole world Rev.12:9, 2 Thess. 2:4, Dan.8:25..and others
I never teach anything as opinion and then claim the word of God..never...and I would have thought by this time you knew that...I am afraid the rapture theorists Cannot say the same..
Steve the bottom line is that Christ our Lord Himself warned us...in various places throughout scripture esp.Mark 13, and Matt.24...Christ wasted no words.And remember He was talking to "Believers"!Not to mention the warnings of Paul and other prophets of old...
