Howard and Dan both- I continue to appreciate your excellent contributions to this thread. Zicam is being validated by more and more evidence. I got mine Saturday afternoon in the middle of the flu. I know it isn't supposed to treat the flu but I felt I had enough cold symptoms to warrant taking it. I find the product easy to take and will swear that my congestion problems could not have gone away this fast without Zicam. We are now in a period when any of a number of drug companies may apply for FDA approval of a nicotine gum to compete with Nicorette (the Smithkline patent has expired). You can pretty well bet Gumm has a good shot of manufacturing that product. All of this at a time when the dental gum is cranking up! GUMM is awfully cheap at 10. Mike
