could be! as i never tire to point out, the Nikkei suffered a 60% decline in the early '90's with the largest pile of money sitting on the sidelines the world has ever seen...due to a 30% savings rate. now, the US savings rate is negative, and stock market investments i regret to say are NOT savings...
