"During the first quarter of 1997, the Company demonstrated under laboratory conditions a significant increase in the capacity of MR heads utilizing keepered media." A huge statement; and the sentance that immediately follows is the regular safeguard against hype charges. "However, testing under laboratory conditions may not be representative of performance in a production disk drive and there is a significantpossibility that further testing or technical or economic factors may make the incorporation of keepered media into MR-based disk drives impractical." An anouncement is around the corner.
