Compaq Computer Corporation Schedules News Conference at
9:45 a.m. Friday, June 12
Compaq Computer Corporation will hold a news conference 9:45 to 11:30
a.m. Friday, June 12, to announce the Company's strategy in light of
its acquisition of Digital Equipment Corporation.
Eckhard Pfeiffer, Compaq president and chief executive officer, will
deliver remarks on the business strategy of the Company as it
establishes the foundation for the new world of computing. Mr.
Pfeiffer's remarks will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
The conference will be held at The Cipriani Wall Street, 55 Wall
Street at the corner of William Street in New York City.
Discussion with Compaq Executives: Members of the media are invited
to remain for lunch and further discussion with the numerous Compaq
senior executives who will be in attendance.
