Sam, I read your post about your new daughter. Congratulations. Babies are such a gift.
And about being laid off, keep your eyes on God. He has this all in "His control." I walked away from my job, my decision, recently, because I knew I could not continue working for my boss. It is a long story. I knew I was valued at the company and that something else could open up. I love the company, however, and it has been a huge blessing to me. Since I quit, I have received phone calls and e-mails from other leaders in the Company, saying that they want to see me back, asap, under different leadership, at another place in the Company. So, I am listening and waiting, what else is new??? In the interim, I have had big projects land in my lap from clients, asking for help, all over the US. That will keep me busy for a few months. That is a condensed version. The other benefit, is this gives me quality time with my son who needs me.
I say all this to reaffirm that "God is in control," and I am asking Him to lead. I will follow. Stay tuned as this unfolds. Trust Him. |
