it's time to begin betting. on what? on when exactly the recession will resume and attain a state of full bloom, a recession quite in contrast with the 'mildest post war downturn on record' that caused the Nasdaq to plunge by 80% not so long ago. this time, the bureaucrats have far less wiggle room - what are they going to do, drop the FF rate to negative?
in deference to the one 'economist' who is absolutely certain to fail to forecast the coming debacle, i hereby move to name it the 'Kudlow depression'.
