That is because Obama's tax plan is to tax those with higher incomes as opposed to those with higher wealth. If you truly espoused a fairness doctrine wouldn't net worth be a more important factor in taxation policy? Once one attains Super Rich status, it becomes much easier to avoid taxes. The bulk of Warren Buffet's wealth is in Berkshire Hathaway stock which pays no dividend.

Just my 2-cents as to the "why"
