then again he may have been one cause of extended war.. state department crap in not cleaning up after invasion. I thought it was their responsibility to have plans developed to help the nation through crisis after the fighting was stopped. he was there when then disbanded the iraq troops. etc. i do not remember him doing anything outstanding to show strength in the state department other than numerous leaks against the bush administration. imo a complete failure, a sec of state who took the job in name only, wouldn't travel.. i think he regretted taking the job.
