We feel the same way.
Want to expand and take on a few more employees, but The O will destroy that dream. Have talked to our subs and they are worried too. We had to add a surcharge into our bids when the price of fuel, local taxes and Insurance skyrocketed, and our clients are now expressing concerns and putting off projects. We give a full on bid and include all aspects and client's list of wishes, but they are either not going through with their projects or drastically cutting back on the scope and size.
Increasing taxes more (local taxes keep rising on a steady basis) is going to kill our business.
Guess we'll have to retire early....although we're not prepared for that........too young for govt health care, SS.......and go underground?
Leave many people in the lurch and not contribute to economy, families who rely on their small business for a living......subs like plumbers, sheet rock, electrical, roofing, painters, gutters, lumber, architects, window etc..who all rely on generals to produce jobs.
That will be good for the economy.....not. |
