Brian,, just got in from Atlanta. Noticed a few gadgets that are coming out at the lower end to assist vendors getting into the sub-$700 PC market. The most noteworthy was a new Asus SP-97 motherboard that incorporates a video chip and SIS chipset and sells for $89 retail. It will take all socket 7 CPUs but does not have a slot for the Intel Video cassette. :>) Several shops had decent (expandable and upgradeable) systems for $699. Buckwheat
