Hi RtS, had to stick my neck out on the TMF AMD board, thus (includes march semi number forecast:)

First of all separately I forecast that SEMI (semichips.org) will report march
2002 chip billings at around $ 12.5 Billion (up from feb and jan)

This means that the 1st quarter will total about $ 32 B against $ 29 B the 4th
quarter of 2001, an increase of 10%.

I am forecasting AMD's revenue almost in line with the industry at + 8% = $
1.050 B
Gross margin should improve a bit to 35% (from 32%), giving $ 360 M
I hope we will be spared the extraordinary items this time, but put in a million
anyway, bottom line net profit $ 8.8 M (2.5 cents)

For Intel revenue + 8% again = $ 7.54 B, gross margin down a bit at 48%
(from 51%), giving $ 3.62 B
Net profit $ 600 M (may be on the high side, but that is my best shot), is 9
cents/share

For the market share in cpus, I think AMD will have 19.5 %, Intel 79%.

Cheers
Cor

(let's see how good the semi forecast is, it would confirm turnaround!)
