Dear Action Alerts PLUS Subscriber,

This is the pullback I've been waiting for on Autobytel (ABTL:Nasdaq). Shares of the online auto portal are off about 10% today to $9.00, and I'm ready to test the waters with a purchase of 1,500 shares...

...Autobytel has been on my radar screen the past few weeks because the company operates with little competition in the massive U.S. auto market. Gross margins are ramping, and the company is realizing higher advertising rates.

The only reason I think this small-cap stock is still in the single-digits is that it's not widely followed by the analyst community.

Regards,
James J. Cramer

Dear Action Alerts PLUS Subscriber,

I'm sticking to my strategy to pick away at weak stocks, buying where I see intrinsic value despite where the market is going.

ValueClick (VCLK:Nasdaq) is now down more than $2 from where we sold it last week, to $7.90 a share. I think the market is overreacting to the temporary block of the national Do-Not-Call list, and I want to start rebuilding my position.

ValueClick has $3 a share in cash on the balance sheet, and I believe it continues to win share in the online marketing business. I'm going to buy 500 VCLK shares after you read this.

Dear Action Alerts PLUS Subscriber,

When we bought Watson Pharmaceuticals (WPI:NYSE) a few points ago, we did so because it is a generic maker of drugs and we think that generic makers are going to be big winners in the new Medicare world. In the interim, it had a shortfall for a couple of weeks on prescriptions for Oxytrol, which knocked the stock down to the high $30s.

That's been forgotten, and today the stock has been ramping on news that it will make generic Percocet.

I am a big believer in the long-term picture for Watson and will not sell any into this run. But I wanted to let you readers know that the stock is running here.

Regards,
James J. Cramer

The return on the Portfolio during the one year period from November 29, 2002 through November 28, 2003 was 24.1%. For comparison purposes, the S&P 500 Index increased 12.71% and the Nasdaq Composite Index increased 31.74% during the same one year period. Results take into account dividends paid, interest earned on cash, and actual commissions paid. Trades in the Portfolio are generally executed upon receipt of confirmation that the Action Alert email containing the report of such trade has been sent to all Action Alerts PLUS subscribers. Results obtained by subscribers may differ from results obtained by Mr. Cramer for many reasons, including, without limitation: (i) the large size of the Portfolio and the high volume of shares traded by Mr. Cramer tend to reduce the effect of commissions on the overall return of the Portfolio relative to the generally smaller portfolios of subscribers, (ii) the prices of stocks in the Portfolio at the point in time subscribers begin subscribing to Action Alerts PLUS may be higher than such prices at the time of Mr. Cramer's purchases of them, and (iii) subscribers may not have the capital to trade as frequently as Mr. Cramer. Additionally, Mr. Cramer is subject to certain trading restrictions, and must hold all securities in the Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio for at least one month, and is not permitted to buy or sell any security he has spoken about on television or on his radio program, for five days following the broadcast.
