Hello:
I totally agree with your "Happy USRXing" and I think usrx is the best positioned company in all areas of communications. No matter which technology comes out on top (cable, asdl, isdn, ..), USRX will be there and WILL be a winner. I read from WSJ a year ago, a reporter asks Cowell for opinion of a maturing 14.4/28.8 modem market and future viability of usrx (when people short the stock crazily at pre-2-split $100, post-split $25), he said something like: "USRX will continue its success as long as people needs (modem-like)communication devices"
Not only the future of USRX is the most foreseeable among the communication stocks. Also, its valuation -- Price/Sales, P/E, net earnings,....are also the most affordable comparing to shva, asnd, cscc, fore, ....
Given only 8% of the population has Net access, I wonder how good the sales of total control enterprise would be in years to come!!!
But I have some questions regarding competition (CSCO, COMS, ASND). Are USRX's products technically better when competing with others'? Any idea of the participation level of USRX in ASDL?
Also, does anyone know the major suppliers and major customers of USRX? No one in this group has mentioned about this in the past 275 messages. As far as I know, modem chips are from Rockwell, DSP from TI, but I have no financial figures on that? Everyone's comments are appreciated.
Thanks everybody
"Excluding the market risk of a crash, USRX is the best stock to own for the long-term."
Long usrx at all levels
