Hmm, you bought DELL, is it?

I find it interesting to note that DELL, in the #2 position, has a market cap greater than CPQ, in the #1. The investor base has cast their vote against Goliath in this match up. I believe they have voted well.

But I also believe these two are both kind of over inflated, and I am currently not long either. I have open orders for heavy buys of INTC at 60 and 70. I find it interesting--and disturbing--that significant bad news from CPQ has not reined in the bulls.

ORCL on the other hand is a pretty nice little money cadge. They may get roughed up a bit transitioning to NT though, but I've weathered ORCL storms in the past. Switching costs in this business are pretty stiff, and I am a firm believer in Geoffrey Moore's chasm theory of technology markets. Their customers will keep ORCL at the head of the class, for the foreseeable future anyway.

Never let your emotion bias your trading. Whether the markets are up, or whether they're down, the ice-men make money.

God bless,
PX
