Yeah, that is how the internet gambling company tries to insulate itself from liability in the US by being based off-shore. What they do not tell the subscriber is that if you are in the US and gambling on the internet using your computer in the US and a US ISP account then YOU ARE subject to US law and regulations. Nice that they leave that part out, eh? The fact is any legislation looking to regulate internet gambling in the US to date has been impractical as far as enforcement. It would be very difficult to regulate. I suspect, and hope, that the government will realize its too late to stop and too hard to regulate so just get involved by imposing some kind of "guilt or sin tax" like they do on booze and tobacco. We shall see.
