The latest ID ( July 30) rates GLE.T as a Speculative buy with a minimum ( my interpretation) target price of $15. This was sent out before this week's latest news release on the successful test!! The impending Delphi news was not mentioned, but implicit in their discussion ( auto and mass transport use etc) They see three main applications of the cell- remote sites( telecommunications and oil patch), mass market home co-generation and transportation. They see Gle's penetration into the remote market as a given ( they already have large market share in heaters etc) They estimated that the automobile alone will account for $9 billion by 2007, a ten fold greater estimate than the remote market. They think the inclusion of the mass market could increase estimates significantly and could change the $15 target multifold.A slight understatement if their $9 billion is anything close to reality!!! It was unfortunate that today was so flat- Friday-middle of summer-and following Greenspans vigilance. The news only appeared in the Globe today, so maybe Monday we will see a step up.PHNPI and bought more today on the pullback.
