These people do raise their own crops, but they have no irrigation-except what they use from the well, so I don't think they perform very well. Not sure what they are growing. The Da Lat area is famous for it's produce. The markets in town are fabulous.

Actually it is summer there also, but they are high in the mountains so the mornings can be cool and the daytime temps are very hot. They get a lot of rains this time of year. They seem to really love their knit caps, they wear them all of the time...they really love their hats.

From what I can gather about work, the women take care of the kids and gardens and the men go off to do manual labor. Mr Hung tells me they do the hardest and most dangerous jobs that no one else will do. Rough, rough lives these people live.
