Well, hello Shalom!! If you think there is something special going on in my life, please drop back by and let me know what it is, so I can have fun with it too or something!!! I must have missed it totally!!
Spring has come early to San Francisco, and the cherry and acacia trees are in blossom. It is warm and very sunny, shorts and tshirts and sunglasses weather, and I may go for a walk on the beach later.
Today when I went out on the front porch, I noticed all the songbirds are back, diving around getting nesting materials off patios to build their nests. My 13-year-old daughter is blooming rapidly now. She has taken an interest in make-up, and has somehow acquired some glittery eye shadow. There are now calls from boys interspersed with those from her girlfriends, and I am just waiting for the stage of huge, unisex baggy clothing with ragged jeans bottoms that have been dragged along the ground to end, and a desire for pretty dresses to begin.
Unfortunately, in my own life there is much continuing sadness that totally envelops me, and which I cannot seem to escape no matter what I try.
