The only advise I have for Hughes is to take everything he sees on the internet with a grain of salt and make his own decisions. Thanks for posting the info about the GSM 2+ phone system. It sounds like Hughes still has some big decisions to make. I suggest he look for companies with name recognition; e.g., global betting with cell phones is a theme that has been thrown out. What better way to get this appoint across than to be associated with Motorola and Iridium. Motorola and Iridium may be hard nosed and he may not get the deal he wants, but in a couple of years with a large client base and increased competition in telecommunications, he'll be able to get preferred rates for his clients. He can send Anita over to the Iridium CEO's penthouse to close the deal if he has to. Unfortunately, I don't know any bookies. But he again, a big name in the gaming industry wouldn't hurt. I know many companies are going after gaming on the internet, but a cell phone would provide greater flexibility in the end user's lifestyle.
