Still would have been tempted to lift some off the table. Here is what's pushing CCRT today:
Compucredit Corporation (NASDAQ: CCRT $56.38)
Long-Term Attractive
Jordan Hymowitz, eCredit & Lending
“CompuCredit held its first annual investor day yesterday,” said Hymowitz. “Enthusiasm over the day moved CCRT shares ahead $7.50, or 15 percent, from the close of day September 26, 2000. Management issued updated earnings-per-share guidance of $3.25 for 2001 and 2002 guidance of $4.50. We are maintaining our 2001 earnings-per-share estimates and are not issuing 2002 estimates this early. After yesterday’s presentation, we are increasing our assumptions for year-over-year receivables growth from 64 percent to 79 percent in 2001, but we have also increased our average loss provisions on a managed earnings-per-share basis for 2001 from 10.5 percent to 11.4 percent. We continue to rate CCRT Long-Term Attractive.”
