When first I heard about the Undocumented Auntie, I thought I'd finally figured out how this spread-the-wealth thing works: The government taxes Joe the Plumber to fund public housing agencies that illegally provide welfare and accommodation to illegal immigrants thereby freeing up their cash flow to enable them to make illegal campaign contributions to any nephew who might chance to be running for president and get him elected so he can tax Joe the Plumber even more to fund even more public housing for even more illegal immigrants to make even more illegal campaign contributions... Etc.
But this reader looks at Aunt Zeituni & Co in more of a positive way:
It seems like the ultimate modern global economy - First we outsourced our jobs, and then savings, and now we outsource the voting and campaign fund raising. Go USA!
Different Party, Different Rules [Mark R. Levin]
The Politico is on the case! Oh, not about Obama's illegal-alien aunt. But who gave the information about her to the media! That's right. David Axelrod insinuates this is all very fishy. John Conyers jumps into action, demanding an investigation. The fact that Obama's aunt is in the country illegally is of little merit.
You have to wonder what Joe the Plumber thinks of all of this. Records kept by government agencies involving his divorce, taxes, car, and all the rest were leaked to the media within hours of his accidental meeting with the Messiah. Other than the Columbus Dispatch, nobody seems to care. And he's actually an American citizen.
Now, you can be absolutely sure that if Obama's aunt was, say, related to Sarah Palin, no one would care how the story became public. Instead, Palin would be bombarded with questions about her.

The Obama middle-class limbo dance descends further. First, it was $250,000. Then $200,000. Just a couple of days ago, Joe Biden reduced it to $150,000. And now...
For the second time in a week, a prominent Democrat has downgraded Barack Obama's definition of the middle class — leading Republicans to question whether he'll stick to his promise not to raise taxes on anyone making under $250,000.
The latest hiccup in the campaign message came Friday morning on KOA-AM, when New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson pegged the middle class as those making $120,000 and under.
"What Obama wants to do is he is basically looking at $120,000 and under among those that are in the middle class, and there is a tax cut for those," Richardson said in the interview...
$120,000? I'm confident Senator Biden can cut that in half by Tuesday morning. Bottom line: If you make over 30 grand, you might want to restructure yourself as an offshore corporation in the Turks & Caicos.
Questioning Obama [Mark Steyn]
Neil Munro of National Journal continues his lonely pursuit of the Obama phony donor scam with a story that, unlike most reporting on this story, link isn't content to be fobbed off with a bland quote from an Obama spokesperson. Today, Mr Munro takes as his starting point the Senator's feeble response to Charlie Gibson - "Look, you know, 3.1 million donors would be a pretty hard thing for us to be able to process" - and demonstrates that this is entirely untrue.
Mr Gibson might have figured this out for himself, were he in his Sarah Palin mode and looking for a real answer, instead of giving the candidate an opportunity to blow an attractive arugula-infused smokescreen. The media congratulates itself on its courage, bravery, fearlessness, etc, more than any other profession. Yet, in the end, as I said to Hugh Hewitt the other afternoon, to be the eunuchs in Sultan Barack's harem.
