If you beg my pardon you sound like a hypester to me. Especially the bit about $10 a share in earnings- bit $10 in sales would be nice. They can't sell their product to Windows/NT users ant they can't sell their product in meaningful volume to Unix users. Linux is way behind - but is catching on. Unfortunately StarOffice is the suite of choice.
As far as SUN micro isolating themselves. I don't see that - especially seeing as they appear to be buying StarDivision. As poor old Applix seem to be dependant upon SUN for their only real sales - I see Applix as isolated now. They obviously cannot survive without sales for SUN systems (it says so in their 10Q).
Strangely enough I still haven't heard any real advantage in the deployment of Applixware. I will be watching this one closely - it looks like a loser.
