I was searching on Yahoo in the International news. A press release was issued shortly after 8 tonite. The release stated that Colombia was considering MCI as one of 3 or more companies to provide service to a new phone system there.

If they are successful ( MCI) would that not help NN as I think they are joint ventured in some way.

I may be way off here, but I think this ( NN and MCI ) are connected.

Columbia to spend upwards of 300 million on the system.

Hope MCI gets it.
