Thanks! If my theory is correct, it would explain the WHY of the matter. Communication today is instant...in my younger life, we either read the papers for national news that happened a couple of days previously to get an in-depth read, or went to the movies to see "News of the World"...TV News was nothing like it is today...we didn't have whole "news only" programs (of course we don't too much today either....we get opinions 23.5 by7)

Because the young (45 and under) see everything happening instantly, they also see wealth, and all that it can buy, instantly. Perspective is gone.

Plus, again, I think the lack of American History in the K-12 grades, has left our young people with no 'roots'. They don't see the Rockefeller, JP Morgan, Vanderbilt types at a distance...they see all the heads of Tech and Related (i.e. Starbucks) Companies and want what they have achieved NOW.

Rev. Wright of G.D. fame, was right about one thing. The chickens are coming home to roost.

However, those chickens will find that, unless they put their shoulder to the wheel and work harder than they thought possible, they will just find a swamp.

As they say: "There ain't no FREE lunch".....
